Brandon recently attended Loretta Lynn's in the Super Mini 1 and Super Mini 2 classes. He was the only rider in South Carolina to qualify for the event. Champion Cycles helped us by providing motor modifications and track side support for the event. The weather was HOT HOT HOT AND HUMID!!!

Racing was first class. In the first moto, Brandon started out really well. Running 7th until a rider in front of him high-sided on the big table-top in the middle of the track. Brandon landed into him and went down. Coming around the next lap, he had do ditch his goggles due to a breakage in the previous crash. He persevered through to the finish without goggles.

In his first moto of the Super Mini 2 class, he suffered from a bad start and came up to 12th about half way through the moto. Shortly thereafter, he fell three times due to the motorcycle cutting off through the turns. It ended up being the gas cap had gone bad and the bike was getting vapor locked.

The remainder of the week Brandon continued to ride very well considering the raw spots on his hand where his blisters had burst. We give him credit for enduring all that happened throughout the week. It wouldn't be Loretta's without some frustrations!

Overall he finished 15th (Super Mini 1) and 20th (Super Mini2), not bad considering the competition and troubles throughout the event. We are proud of his accomplishment, and he has learned what he needs to works on to get the results he wants.
